LTHS Boys Soccer Team Advances To Super-Sectional

LOCKPORT, IL — Boys' soccer teams across the state are making their way through sectional competition play as the IHSA state championships are planned for Nov. 7-9.

In addition to its regional championship title, the Lockport Township High School boys soccer team has now added a sectional championship title to this season.

LTHS defeated Lincoln-Way East, 3-2, on Nov. 2 to advance to the super-sectional game.

Head Coach Chris Beal's team will now face Hinsdale Central in the super-sectional on Tuesday, according to IHSA.

The winner of that game will move on to the Class 4A state tournament.
