LTHS Softball Heads To IHSA State Finals Tournament
Lockport will play Barrington in the state finals tournament on Friday.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School softball team is heading to the IHSA Class 4A state finals tournament after a super-sectional win over Bradley-Bourbonnais.
Lockport defeated Bradley-Bourbonnais, 2-0, on Monday, and will now head to the state finals tournament in Peoria on June 13-14.
Earlier this season, Lockport became regional champions by defeating Shepard, 2-0; and sectional champions by defeating Lincoln-Way Central, 2-0, according to IHSA.

Next up for the Porters is the first round in the state finals tournament, against Barrington, at 3 p.m. on June 13 in Peoria. The third-place game and the state championship game will be held on Saturday.
The other two teams left in the state finals are Oswego and Oak Park.
