New Year…New Team…New Culture Let's Do This...TOGETHER!

Saints Dennis and Joseph Catholic Academy (SDJCA) in Lockport began the new fiscal year with a big win! On Sunday, June 30th, the school community showed up in droves at the North Campus gymnasium to MEET THE TEAM. This event was planned with a baseball theme. The community was welcomed by “General Manager” (Principal) Thomas Newton and the 2024-25 “starting line-up” was introduced. The staff wore SDJCA team jerseys and hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and cracker jacks were served to the fans. A new school motto was also unveiled at the ballpark that day: “New Year…New Team…New Culture. Let’s Do This…TOGETHER!” The new staff is excited to begin and the SDJCA families could not have been happier with the positive energy and excitement of the team and the crowd. There were lots of smiles, lots of cheers and great teamwork displayed. This one was hit out of the park!

To add to the excitement, SDJCA has two more blessings to add to the roster. Fr. Dan Hoehn and Fr. Tom Logue started their assignments as Pastor and Parochial Vicar of both St. Dennis and St. Joseph Churches in Lockport, on July 1st. They are thrilled to be involved in SDJCA moving forward.

SDJCA has a great season ahead. This team is headed to the top.
