1 Killed In Fiery Crash Involving Semi-Trailer In Dolton: Reports
Police believe speed was a factor in a crash that occurred when a car hit another vehicle, spun out, hit a truck and burst into flames.
DOLTON, IL — One person was killed in a fiery crash on Wednesday when their car collided with a semi-trailer, causing their car to burst into flames, according to multiple reports.
Dolton Police reported that they believe a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Sibley Boulevard near Wentworth when it struck another vehicle, spun out, and hit the truck that was traveling in the opposite direction, WGN reported.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that burst into flames was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.
