Retail Theft

Brian Johnson, 43, of Calumet City was charged with retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Walgreens, 18300 Governors Highway at 2:06 p.m. on June 18. Johnson concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $63.96. Johnson also had in his possession approximately .8 grams of suspect heroin and a glass pipe.

Criminal Trespass To Property

Sarom Rath, 37, of Steger was charged with criminal trespass to property and possession of a controlled substance at 1:44 a.m. on June 21 in the 3100 block of 183rd Street. Rath refused to leave the premises after multiple requests by the property owner to do so. Rath had in her possession two pills without the required prescription (suspect Acyclovir and suspect Hydrocodone).

Benjamin Levert, of the 19000 block of Jodi Terrace in Homewood was charged with criminal trespass to property and possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:26 p.m. on June 18 at Walgreens, 820 W. 183rd St. Levert, who had been given prior notice that he was not allowed on the property, remained on the property. Levert had in his possession a glass pipe.
