Behavior Counselor Accused of Bad Behavior
The Ingalls Hospital employee was fired and arrested after allegedly choking a 15-year-old patient last month.

A behavior counselor at a south suburban hospital lost his job and faces criminal charges after being accused of choking a 15-year-old patient. Steven Pleasant, 46, charged with aggravated battery for the January incident with the child, is due in court on Thursday. The child is a ward of the state, reports WGN.
Pleasant was a behavior counselor at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey.
The teen asked Pleasant for orange juice and surveillance video shows Pleasant attack him, a city of Harvey spokesman told CBS Chicago.
“For whatever reason, the 46-year-old employee began to push the particular victim into a food cart, took him to the ground, put him in a chokehold for about 25 seconds,” Sean Howard said.
