Bullets Fly, 1 Dead In 'Chaotic Scene' At Park Forest House Party: PD
Park Forest Police were called to the scene of a house party early Friday morning, where several were found shot.
PARK FOREST, IL — A 29-year-old Chicago man is dead, and two other victims are in critical condition after gunfire was exchanged at a Park Forest house party in the early morning hours Friday.
Park Forest police were called to what they described as a "chaotic scene" at a Park Forest house party in the 100 block of Fir Street early Friday morning, for reports of shots fired.
Police found several gunshot victims and "multiple individuals fleeing the area," police said. A fight between people at the party led to multiple people shooting guns. Victim Ladarius William, 29, of Chicago, was found dead from multiple gunshots inside the home. Three others were also found shot, including a 19-year-old from Waukegan and a 28-year-old from Chicago, police said. Two were taken to local hospitals, and later transferred to a Chicago trauma center in critical condition. Both underwent surgery and remain hospitalized, police said.

A 22 year-old from Chicago was treated by paramedics at the scene, and refused transport to the hospital.
Park Forest Detectives and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force members responded to the call and assisted by the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit. Several firearms were recovered from the scene. Several vehicles in the area were also struck by gunfire during the incident.

The incident is under investigation by the Park Forest Police Department and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task force.
