FLOSSMOOR, IL — While the weather Feb. 13 was bitterly cold, Flossmoor School District 161’s STEAM Night was nothing short of electrifying. A record number of families dove into an evening of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities—proving that learning is always cool, no matter the temperature.

"Flossmoor School District 161’s first combined STEAM Night brought the community together for a night of hands-on learning," said Amabel Crawford, Director of Learning and Instruction for Flossmoor School District 161. "Students and teachers from all four elementary schools, along with Parker Junior High’s STEAM Club, participated. Families explored STEAM’s impact on daily life and the future, making it a memorable night."
