Eggs On Carpet, Resisting Arrest At Walmart: Homewood Cop Blotter

Resisting A Peace Officer

Tremayne Jamison, 48, of Chicago was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer at 2:10 p.m. on June 9 at Walmart, 17550 Halsted St. Jamison placed items in a shopping cart and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $398.58. Jamison fled on foot and was located a short distance away. Jamison physically resisted officers during handcuffing.

Robert Rivers, 22, of Chicago Heights was charged with retail theft and driving while license suspended/revoked and Luciciano Mosby, 19, of Dolton was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and resisting a peace officer at 4:43 p.m. on June 10 at Walgreens, 820 W. 183rd St. Rivers concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $31.98. Rivers drove away from the area and was located a short distance away. Mosby, a passenger in the vehicle, fled from the vehicle and was located a short distance away. A firearm was recovered from the vehicle where Mosby had been seated.

Criminal Damage To Property

Danielle Hill, 26, of the 800 block of Elder in Homewood was charged with criminal damage to property at 11:16 p.m. on June 9 in the 800 block of Elder. Hill threw a brick thru a patio screen and left flour and eggs on carpet in a hallway area.

Burglary

Brittany Ligue Richardson, 21, of Markham was charged with burglary on June 10 in connection to an incident reported at 4:47 p.m. on May 31 at Speedway, 18002 Halsted St. Ligue-Richardson was the driver of the vehicle used in the commission of a burglary, where a glass door was broken and a cash register and other merchandise was taken from the business.

Criminal Trespass

A 24-year-old man from Lansing, Michigan was charged with criminal trespass to property and unlawful possession of cannabis at 4:53 p.m. on June 11 at Extreme Scene Skate Park, 18350 Harwood Ave. The man was in the park, which was chained and padlocked closed with a notice posted, and in possession of approximately 65 grams of suspect cannabis.
