Flossmoor Seeks Project Hosts For Annual Day Of Service

Village officials are already planning ahead for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day coordinated effort.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Village of Flossmoor is planning ahead, seeking those who would like to head up projects for the Village's annual Day of Service this winter.

The Village seeks residents, local businesses, non-profits, volunteer groups, neighborhood clubs and associations who want to host a project on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. organized effort on Monday, Jan. 15.

The Village last year featured 23 service projects across town. Now approaching its 10th annual event during the Village of Flossmoor's 100th year, officials hope to grow the volunteer base and number of service projects even more.
