Flossmoor Village Clerk Resigns, Village Seeks Applicants For Role
The deadline to apply is Monday, July 7.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Village of Flossmoor is seeking applicants for the position of village clerk, after the resignation of Gina LoGalbo.
At the June 16 Village Board meeting, LoGalbo announced she'd be stepping down from the role, due to increasing responsibilities in her professional career, the Village said.
Mayor Michelle Nelson and trustees thanked LoGalbo for her service to the community of Flossmoor in this role and in others. They also announced that the remainder of her term (through May 2027) will be open to applicants.

"I can’t thank her enough for all she has done to help move the Village of Flossmoor forward," Nelson shared on social media. "She has led with unmatched passion and objectivity while juggling being a mom (of four!!!), being a wife, growing in her professional career, volunteering in our schools, village, and with the Flossmoor Veterans' Wall of Honor, promoting local businesses and our village, and organizing various events and fundraisers..."
The person appointed to fulfill LoGalbo's term will then be on the ballot in May 2027.

The Village Clerk is a non-voting member of the Village Board who is responsible for recording votes, taking Board meeting minutes, and attesting signatures on various Village documents. The Clerk works closely with the Village Manager and her staff. Interested residents should submit a resume and letter of interest to the attention of Mayor Michelle Nelson by emailing info@flossmoor.org with “Village Clerk Application” in the subject line. The deadline to apply is midnight on Monday, July 7.
