Free Chamber Night With The Illinois Philharmonic Set For July 19
The performance will be held July 19 in Flossmoor.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Music lovers are invited to bring a chair and cozy up for a free night with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra in Flossmoor.
The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, the HF Chronicle, the Village of Flossmoor, and the Flossmoor Business Association have announced Chamber Night with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra in Flossmoor, will take place on Wednesday, July 19, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave.
"This eagerly anticipated outdoor event provides an opportunity for music enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and newcomers alike to indulge in the beauty of well-known pieces from Mozart to Sinatra to Coldplay arranged for classical instruments," the chamber said in a release.

The evening starts at 5 p.m. with the opportunity to “Shop, Wine and Dine” in downtown
Flossmoor. The concert begins at 5:45 p.m. with the Bel Canto Choir, followed by the headline
performance by the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Strings.
Music lovers from several Chicago Southland communities come out for this free event.
Dinner, beverages, and other items will be available for purchase from Dunning’s, The Bistro
on Sterling, and Flossmoor Station Restaurant and Brewery.

The event is free, with support from Meijer, BankFinancial in Flossmoor, ComEd, Rich Township, State Farm-Mike Fernandez, Kluger Furs, Bionic Content, and the HF Chronicle.
