The Cancer Support Center's 33rd annual golf outing is set for Monday, Sept. 9 at Idlewild Country Club in Flossmoor.
HOMEWOOD, IL — The Cancer Support Center is thrilled to announce its 33rd Annual Golf Outing, a charitable event dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families. This year's outing will take place on Monday, September 9 at Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Hwy., offering a day of fun, camaraderie, and philanthropy.
The Cancer Support Center, 2028 Elm Rd., has been a beacon of hope for those affected by cancer, providing comprehensive resources, emotional support, and educational programs to patients and their families, staff said in a release. The annual golf outing is one of the center's most anticipated events, drawing participants from all walks of life who are united in their commitment to making a difference in the fight against cancer.
"We are excited to host this year's golf outing and grateful for the community's continued support," said Kristen Kolwelter, Executive Director of The Cancer Support Center. "This event not only raises essential funds but also brings together individuals who share a common goal of supporting those impacted by cancer. Every swing, every putt, and every donation makes a significant impact."
