Gunfire Hits House In Homewood: Police

Police recovered shell casings, but no arrests had been made.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A house in the 18500 block of May Street was hit by gunfire early Sunday morning, police said.

A report of shots fired came in around 1:15 a.m. Officers found that one home had been damaged, but no one was injured.

Shell casings were found in the area, police said.
