H-F Park District To Reopen Admin Building After Pandemic Closure

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is excited to announce the re-opening of its Goldberg Administration Center to the public.

The facility, located at 3301 Flossmoor Rd., has been closed to the public since the pandemic shutdown.

"We’ve seen a steady increase in registration for our programs over the past few months," said Doug Boehm, Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Executive Director. "We felt the time was right to grow our services to help meet the community need."

The Goldberg Administration Center will join other park district facilities including the Irwin Community Center and the H-F Racquet & Fitness Club to offer a destination for park district resources and services.

The Goldberg Administration Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5. Patrons that stop in between Sept. 5 to Sept. 8 to register for a program or rent a facility will have the opportunity to win prizes, including a $50 credit for park district programming.

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is a three-time National Gold Medal Award Winner for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.
