H-F's Hoag Shoots to the Top of Girls Golf Pack
Katelyn Hoag led the Homewood-Flossmoor girls golf team in a triangular against Marian Catholic and Mother McAuley. Also, the H-F girls swim team picks up two victories.

Homewood-Flossmoor's Katelyn Hoag was on her game in a recent girls golf triangular against Marian Catholic and Mother McAuley.
Hoag shot 41 to tie for medalist honors as the Vikings placed second out of three teams with a total of 182. Marian Catholic won the triangular with a 174 team total. Mother McAuley placed third with 197.
Hoag shared medalist honors with Marian Catholic's Sylvie Brick and Bree Veaze.

Marian Runners Hitting Their Stride
Camren Howard was clocked in 16:44 for 2.9 miles to finish 25th and Matthew Lamb was 30th in 16:53, leading the Spartans boys cross country team to an 11th-place finish in the Argo Invite on Saturday. The Spartans picked up points from Chris Merriman (18:00), Nathan Holley (18:24) and Noah Brim (18:42).
On the girls side, Angela Totos has a time of 20:28 for 2.97 miles on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Midlothian Meadows to finish 39th as Marian Catholic placed ninth as a team in the ESCC pre-championship meet. Jacqueline Silverman took 61st with a time of 21:11 for the Spartans. Caitlin Henry (22:25), Helena Mierzwa (22:27) and Christina Moreno (22:59) rounded out the top times for Marian.

Volleyball: Chargers Too Much for H-F
Stagg defeated Homewood-Flossmoor 25-19, 25-18 on Sept. 22. Ali Conorad's eight kills topped the Chargers.
Girls Swimming: H-F Gets Pair Of Wins
The Homewood-Flossmoor girls swim team picked up two wins last week, one against Lincoln Way Central on Sept. 20 and the other against Andrew on Sept. 22. The Vikings topped 100 points in both meets.
