H-F Park District Amends Apollo Park Sports Schedule

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has announced an amended sports schedule in lieu of the recent, temporary closure of Apollo Park due to a nearby chemical incident. The park district anticipates reopening Apollo and Rover's Run dog park by Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Here's the modified sports schedule:

Flag Football: Program will be held at Patriots Park, 187th St. and Center Ave., Homewood. Grades 3-4 will meet at 9 a.m. and Grades 5-6 will meet at 10 a.m.

Softball Leagues: Games have been moved to various other parks. Please contact your team captain for details. 

H-F Soccer Club and H-F Junior Vikings Football: Participants will be contacted by these organizations with alternate schedules.
