H-F Vikings Basketball Star Headed for UIC

Homewood-Flossmoor High School's Tai Odiase will be joining the University of Illinois-Chicago as a member of the Flames come next school year, according to the Sun-Times Media.

The 6-foot-9-inch senior made the choice over the likes of Valparaiso, Ball State, Missouri-Kansas City and Kent State.

“I’m the most comfortable there, they recruited me the hardest and it is the coaching staff I’m most confident in,” Odiase told the Sun-Times media.

Odiase was recently celebrated for his performance on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit during spring and summer.
