Homewood Bank Robber Fled In Purple Vehicle: Police
Police said the BMO Harris Bank on Halsted Street was robbed Monday morning by a man who demanded money from a bank teller.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A BMO Harris Bank was robbed Monday morning in Homewood by a man who fled in a purple car, police told Patch.
Officers were called to the bank at 17600 Halsted Street at around 10:44 a.m. By the time they arrived, a bank teller told officials the man had already left after demanding an unknown amount of money.
The bank robber is described as a black man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black baseball hat and a light blue face mask. Police did not immediately respond to questions on how much money was taken or if the man had a weapon.

As in all bank robberies, the FBI is in charge of the investigation, with assistance from Homewood police.
