Eight team members qualified for IHSA's state girl's wrestling competition, 6 of them were girls.
HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — A south suburban girl's wrestling team had six young women qualify for a state-level competition, according to reports.
At the Illinois High School Association's state tournament in February, eight students from Homewood-Flossmoor High School qualified to compete. Of those eight, six were female.
