Homewood Hiring Three Full-time Firefighter/Paramedics: Village

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Village of Homewood is currently seeking to hire three, full-time firefighter/paramedics, officials announced on its website.
The Village of Homewood is now accepting completed fire examination applications to establish a two-year eligibility list for the position of full-time firefighter/paramedic, with three positions to be filled immediately. Salaries range from $62,821, to a maximum of $104,386 after six years on the job.
Qualified candidates will be required to attend an orientation and take a written exam on Saturday, Sept. 21. Those who pass the written exam will also take an oral examination in October, officials said.

Eligibility requirements and application instructions are available online. Applications must be emailed to tacquah@homewoodil.gov no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 6.
