Homewood Police Hiring Part-Time Records Clerk

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Homewood Police Department is seeking applicants for the role of part-time records clerk.

As described, the job duties of the Records Clerk, include, but are not limited to, a variety of responsible clerical and technical duties related to the maintenance of Police Department records; to provide assistance and information to Police Department staff, other Village Departments and the public; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to Village residents and the general public.

The successful applicant will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous experience working in a Police Department preferred.

Starting salary is $21 per hour. All applicants must be able to work night shift, weekends, holidays and adjust one’s work schedule to meet department needs.

The first review of applications will take place Aug. 28. The position will remain open until filled.
