Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop Has Florida Warrant
Flossmoor arrested a driver who caused a brief chase and school lockdown Friday morning. The man also has a warrant in Florida.

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor police have arrested a driver who refused to pull over during a traffic stop Friday morning in an incident that caused a brief chase and a lockdown at Heather Hill School.
According to police, officers attempted to pull a driver over on Lawrence Crescent for a traffic violation, but the driver fled and tried to evade them. He pulled into a driveway, where police attempted to arrest him, but he resisted and tried to run away. Police tased and arrested him. He has since been cleared by paramedics.
Charges are pending, but police said they include resisting arrest, battery to a police officer, driving without a license, minor traffic violation and an active no-bond warrant in Florida.

The Code Yellow lockdown at the school was lifted at 9 a.m.
