Stars And Stripes Family Social Set For July 3: H-F Park District
The family event will be held at Irwin Park, and will include food and drink for purchase, lawn games, and live music.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Families are invited to celebrate Independence Day at the Stars & Stripes Family Social on Wednesday, July 3 at Irwin Park, 18120 S. Highland Ave., Homewood.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is planning plenty of fun for all ages beginning at 6:30 pm, including spin art, a bounce house, lawn games, and food available to purchase from Wiley’s Grill.
At 7 p.m. one of Chicago's premiere cover bands, SHOUT OUT takes the stage at the Irwin Park Bandshell. This energetic entourage brings the party, and plays a wide variety of popular songs.

Admission is free. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food, beverages, and alcohol will be available for purchase from vendors; outside alcohol is prohibited.
