Subway Robbed At Gunpoint Monday Morning: Homewood Police

The incident happened just after 10 a.m. Monday.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Homewood Subway was robbed at gunpoint Monday morning, police said.

Police were called just after 10 a.m. to the Subway in the 18300 block of Governors Highway.

Officers learned that a masked robber entered the store, showed a handgun and demanded money from the register. The suspect took an unknown amount of cash and fled in an unknown vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery, police said.
