Teams Invited To Step Up To Plate In H-F Cup-In-Hand Kickball Tourney

The tournament will be held Sept. 9 at Leavitt Park in Flossmoor. Registration is open.

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — Adults ages 21 and older are invited to relive their childhood playground days but with a grown-up flair, at an upcoming cup-in-hand kickball tournament.

Players will step up to the plate, with a drink in hand. Tournament format is single-elimination. Teams must have at least six players with at least two females. Maximum of eight players per team. Games are four innings or 30 minutes, whichever comes first. All players are required to play with a drink in hand (does not have to be alcoholic). Eight beers per team are provided. Monetary prize awarded to the tournament champion. Registration fee is per team. Players are expected to drink responsibly.

The cup-in-hand kickball tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 1 to 7 p.m., at Leavitt Park, 1010 Leavitt Avenue, Flossmoor. Fee is $60 for residents and $75 for non-residents.
