Thanksgiving 2017: Homewood, Flossmoor Grocers Open On Holiday

It's the Monday before Thanksgiving, and you've got everything covered for Thursday's feast with family and friends. Turkey? Check. Stuffing? Check. Pumpkin pie? Check.

But as well-prepared as you might be for Turkey Day, there's always the inevitable One Last Thing you forgot to pick up from the grocery store Wednesday. Maybe it's the cherry tomatoes that Aunt Phyllis enjoys in her salad. Or Uncle Larry's favorite brand of vanilla ice cream that 7-Eleven doesn't carry.

Thankfully — pun intended — some grocery stores in and around Homewood and Flossmoor will have special Thanksgiving hours for any last-minute food shopping.

Here's a look at which stores will have special holiday hours:

Jewel-Osco, 3153 W. 183rd St., Homewood; 17705 S. Halsted St., Homewood: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mariano's, 21001 S. LaGrange Road, Frankfort: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meijer, 3800 Vollmer Road, Flossmoor: Open 24 hours

Target, 17605 S. Halsted St., Homewood: 6 p.m. to midnight

Walt's Food Center, 2345 183rd St, Homewood: Closed
