A Chicago man who was previously caught stealing from Jewel in Homewood went back for more, police said.
HOMEWOOD, IL — A Chicago man who was arrested in December for retail theft at a Homewood grocery store went back for more in March, according to police reports.
Mark Letts, 65, of Chicago, returned to Jewel, 17705 S. Halsted, on March 20 after being told not to come back following a previous charge of retail theft. While inside, police say he took items totaling more than $200 and tried to exit the store without paying.
When police stopped him, he reportedly gave them a false name.
