Thornton Township, Illinois Trustees Deny Henyard Quorum Again Amid Fight Over Lapsed Insurance

HARVEY, Ill. (CBS) -- In south suburban Thornton Township on Monday night, two trustees skipped a special board meeting to approve township insurance coverage.

The trustees, Christopher Gonzalez and Carmen Carlisle, say Supervisor Tiffany Henyard needs to conduct herself more professionally and foster an environment of respect. They have repeatedly denied Henyard a quorum at township board meetings as a show of protest.
