Victims Uncooperative, Police Search For Leads In Flossmoor Shooting
According to police, the two men injured in the Thursday afternoon shooting may have been targeted due to a prior incident.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor police have not yet made an arrest in a double shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Police are canvassing neighborhoods surrounding the intersection of Travers and Vardon lanes where the shooting occurred Thursday shortly before 3:45 p.m.
According to officials, detectives believe the two men injured in the shooting — ages 21 and 22 — were targeted but have not been able to identify a suspect due to "limited cooperation from the victims," officials wrote in a statement.
