His Loaded Gun Was Not Pointed At Anyone In His Neighborhood: Joliet Police
It was alleged that 46-year-old Alfredo Morales then entered his home and exited carrying a handgun, Joliet police advised.

JOLIET, IL — A 46-year-old man who comes from the Plainfield area has been arrested by the Joliet police on charges of aggravated assault in connection with a neighborhood gun incident.
Alfredo Morales has been given his notice to appear in court on the aggravated assault charges, according to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English.
On May 24 at 10:46 a.m., the officers responded to a residence in the 6900 block of Bitterroot Drive for a report of a man with a gun. The officers were advised that Morales was arguing with his wife in the driveway of their home. A neighbor tried to intervene in the disturbance at which time Morales became angry with the neighbor, English noted.

It was alleged that Morales then entered his home and exited carrying a handgun. Officers were advised Morales did not point the weapon at anyone, but it is believed that he approached the neighbor in a threatening manner while holding the handgun before then going back into his home, English announced.
He said the officers placed Morales into custody without incident and a loaded handgun was recovered.
