I-80 Lanes In Joliet Will Be Closed For Next 2 Weekends: Here's Why

JOLIET — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced it will be conducting weekend lane closures on I-80 this weekend and next weekend between Houbolt Road and Richards Street.

The right lane will be closed on eastbound I-80 from 10 p.m. Friday, April 25 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 28. The right lane on westbound I-80 will then be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 5.

The lane closures are needed to complete pavement patching and bridge deck repairs.
