I-80 Shut Down After Crash: Illinois State Police

JOLIET, IL — The Illinois State Police revealed that Interstate 80 going westbound through Joliet near Briggs Street has been closed down because of a multi-vehicle wreck. The announcement came around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

"Please avoid the area," ISP cautioned people.
