Jilted Boyfriend Kicks in Ex's Door, Attacks Her New Lover: Cops

A jilted boyfriend stalked his ex and her new lover as they drank at Lockport bars, then followed the couple home, kicked in the door and attacked them, police said.

Brenden Gory, 23, was jailed on charges of home invasion, battery and domestic battery in connection with his alleged 9 p.m. Monday rampage at his ex-girlfriend’s Parkwood Drive apartment.

Cops called to the apartment building found blood in the hall and the door kicked in, police said. They then spoke with Gory’s former lady friend and her new lover, who reportedly had a two-inch cut on his head.

The couple told officers that Gory, a Lockport resident, followed them around “all night” as they hung out at various establishments in that town, police said. After they got home to Joliet, Gory allegedly kicked in the door and went after the new boyfriend.

The Lockport police took Gory into custody at his home on 13th Street.
