He’s my best friend. We’re working on a relationship. We’ve been together ten years, and I’m helping him the best way I can.
What makes the veteran someone your community should know about?
That they need know that there are veterans still out here hurting, do have a place to stay. He needs furniture — let him know that he is appreciated. It takes a lot mentally and physically to come back from serving.
What three words best describe the veteran?
Very intelligent, beautiful inside and out. Just a beautiful soul.
