Joliet House Gets Shot Up On Waverly Place By Mysterious Overnight Gunman
Joliet's police officers recovered multiple spent shell casings in the street, but the shooter got away.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department issued a press release on Thursday announcing that someone's house on the west side was shot up this week.
According to the police, at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday, the officers responded to the 1300 block of Waverly Place for a report of shots fired. The officers discovered a house was struck by multiple rounds of gunfire. It was determined that the home was occupied at the time of the shooting. There were no injuries reported.
During a canvass of the area, the officers recovered multiple spent shell casings in the street, the agency noted.
