The Joliet man threatened to send naked pictures of his girlfriend to her parents, police said.

A Joliet man threatened to send naked pictures of his girlfriend to her parents if the young woman did not acquiesce to his demands and do as she was told, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.
Moegamatzane Johannes, 21, was charged with felony intimidation in connection with his alleged coercion of his girlfriend.
The Joliet Junior College police investigated Johannes and secured the charges against him.

Johannes not only attempted to extort his girlfriend with naked photos, but also threatened to damage her car, the complaint said.
Johannes, an auto shop worker, was released on his own recognizance following his arrest Oct. 29.

While the criminal complaint against Johannes identifies his victim by the initials “M.I.” and says she is a “minor,” a petition for a protective order was filed by a 20-year-old woman with the same initials who claims to be his girlfriend.
In the petition, the young woman accuses Johannes of threatening to kill her if she disobeyed him or broke off their relationship. She also said she was informed by the junior college police that they would be “putting him in jail for harassing (her) on the phone via text messaging.”
