Joliet Mom, Grandma, Caregiver 'Strong In So Many Ways,' Daughter Says
Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to shine a light on awesome moms in the Joliet area. Meet Hilda Orozco.
JOLIET, IL — Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
Anyone who knows my mom knows that her heart is sooo big. If she can help someone out, she will and ask for nothing in return. As a daughter, mother and grandmother she will do all she can to make sure we’re good.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She puts everyone first and doesn’t give herself enough recognition. I know it gets hard for her as the main caregiver to my Mema and her humbleness doesn’t allow her to see that, but she really is so strong in so many ways. I would just like her to know that.
