JOLIET, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
She is the foundation to our family. She works hard everyday even though she’s supposed to be retired. She is also selfless because she gives her all to her family. She has a huge heart that not all mothers have. We truly are blessed to have a mom like ours.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Her selflessness, her sacrifice and because she works harder than any mom I know.
