Joliet Soldier Jose Duenez's Prayer Vigil Is Tonight: Here's Where
Jose Duenez, a Joliet native, was one of the four United States Army soldiers who died during a recent military operation in Europe.

CREST HILL — There will be a candlelight vigil on Monday night for Joliet native Jose Duenez Jr., the U.S. Army soldier who was one of four soldiers who died in March during a training exercise in Lithuania. The vigil will take place at 6:45 p.m. at Word of Life Church in Crest Hill at 1500 Cedarwood Drive. People are asked to bring candles.
"Join us to honor and remember a remarkable life," the announcement proclaimed.
Last week, Georgia Patch reported that the soldiers — from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division in Fort Stewart — disappeared the morning of March 25, according to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa. The military officials said they were in Lithuania supporting Operation Atlantic Resolve. All four of the missing soldiers have been found dead after their M88A2 Hercules armored vehicle was located submerged in water near the training area in Pabradė, Lithuania, military officials said.
