Liquor Store Beating Lands Joliet Man in Hot Water: Cops

The Joliet man remains at large but has a $100,000 warrant out for his arrest.

The police are after a Joliet man who allegedly hit another man in the head at a west side liquor store.

Raymond Johnson, 45, faces felony aggravated battery charges in connection with the alleged Sept. 24 attack at Stang Kelly Liquors on West Jefferson Street.

A warrant for Johnson’s arrest was issued earlier this month. The warrant carries a $100,000 bond.

Johnson allegedly attacked a man named Randy Johnson. It was not clear if the two Johnsons are related.
