Man Staying at Morning Star Mission Charged with Kentucky Murder
The Joliet police picked the man up Monday.

Andy McAmis, 51, was arrested Monday. He remains in the Will County jail awaiting extradition to Paducah.
McAmis killed 56-year-old Harold B. Bone of Paducah, according to the West Kentucky Star.
“Detectives worked through the weekend attempting to find McAmis, and eventually received information that led them to believe he was in Joliet, IL with a friend,” the Star reported.
McAmis was staying at Morning Star Mission on East Washington Street, according to jail records.
“Investigators believe that McAmis and Bone were acquaintances, but something happened Friday that led to an altercation at Dolly McNutt Plaza about 9 p.m., the Star reported. “Bone’s body was found by a passerby about 12 hours later.”
