Midland Avenue Closure For Water Main Project Won't Be As Long As You Think
The intersection of North Midland Avenue and Campbell Street will be closed.

JOLIET, IL — As part of the Midland and Campbell Water Main Improvement Project, new water main is to be installed across the intersection of N. Midland Avenue and Campbell Street, Joliet city officials announced in a press release.
The work to construct the new water main is scheduled to begin the morning of Wednesday, June 25th and be completed on Wednesday, July 2nd. The intersection of North Midland Avenue and Campbell Street will be closed.
All traffic on North Midland Avenue and Campbell Street near the intersection will be detoured during construction. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes for the duration of the work.

"We appreciate your patience and ask that you drive slowly and cautiously through any construction zone," the city of Joliet announced.
