Missing Joliet Woman 'May Be In A Vulnerable State Related To Mental Health, Substance Abuse Issues'

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department issued a Facebook announcement on Wednesday letting people know that the officers are seeking the community's assistance regarding a missing woman from the 900 block of Plainfield Road.

Melinda Hall is 51 years old. She stands 5-foot-6 and weighs 250 pounds. She has blue eyes and blond hair, the police department noted.

"Melinda was last seen wearing a black winter coat and white shoes and was carrying a red duffle bag and gray backpack. Melinda may be in a vulnerable state related to mental health & substance abuse issues," Joliet police announced.
