Old Woman Left at Dialysis Center for Hours Halloween Night, Died Next Day: Cops
An ambulance never picked the woman up, police said.

An elderly, sickly woman was left for hours in an empty, closed dialysis facility Halloween night and died the next day, police said.
An ambulance scheduled to take the 71-year-old woman from DaVita Renal Center West never picked the woman up, police said. Officers sent to the 1051 Essington Road facility saw her sitting in her wheelchair, police said.
Firefighters gained entrance to the facility shortly before midnight and took the woman to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She died Sunday.
The woman suffered from “all types of medical problems,” a police source said.
The woman may have been left at the facility for as long as eight hours, police said.
