JOLIET, IL — On Saturday, June 14, Indivisible Illinois, In Unison, Working Families of Will County, the Illinois National Organization for Women, and grassroots allies will rally in Joliet to stand united for justice, equality, and democracy. The “NO KINGS” National Day of Action is a nationwide mobilization to oppose the growing authoritarianism and corruption of Donald Trump and his allies.

From attacks on public education, unions, and immigrant families, to efforts to silence dissent and undermine our courts, Trump’s movement continues to threaten the rights and freedoms of millions of Americans. On Flag Day, communities across the country are rising up to say: The flag belongs to us, not to would-be kings. This peaceful, nonviolent rally is part of a coordinated national movement declaring: No thrones. No crowns. No kings.
