Parents of Young Woman Killed in Car Wreck Sue Bar Where Friend was Allegedly Drinking
The woman's friend, who was allegedly driving, was also killed.

Gina and Richard Chobar, the parents of Darcy Chobar, filed a lawsuit against the Office Bar & Grill in Channahon.
Darcy Chobar, 21, and Tyler Fox, also 21, were both killed after the Buick Regal they were riding in hit the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 55.
“They rolled over and were ejected and killed on scene,” State Police Master Sgt. Fred Rivera said at the time.
Fox was served alcohol at the Office starting about 8:30 p.m. on June 3, through the night and into the early hours of the next morning, the lawsuit said.
Fox, a Channahon resident, was behind the wheel of the Buick, the lawsuit said, and was speeding when he lost control on Interstate 55 and crashed.
