Plainfield Man Sued Over Alleged Barroom Brawl Sucker Punch
The man on the wrong end of the alleged punch is also suing the Joliet bar.

Jarod Munsell spent 12 days in the hospital after he was punched in the nose at Joe’s Bar on West Jefferson Street in March, police said. After he got out, the alleged puncher, 38-year-old Jason Peal, was jailed on aggravated battery charges.
Peal has since bonded out but the felony case against him remains pending. And now Munsell and his wife, Amanda Munsell, are suing him in Will County court. The Munsells are also suing Joe’s Bar. According to the lawsuit, the bar is responsible for selling Peal the alcohol that got him drunk before the brutal beating.
Peal was at Joe’s with a lady friend the night of the attack, according to police, who said Peal punched the man after he bumped into the woman.
