Rock Thrown At Neighbor's Car On Raynor Avenue After Domestic Violence: Joliet Police

Officers were able to place the man into custody without further incident in the 500 block of North Raynor Avenue.

JOLIET, IL — A 20-year-old resident of Shorewood is now staying in the Will County Jail after Joliet police arrested Tamron Veasy on charges of domestic battery and resisting arrest. He was also arrested on a separate charge of felony criminal damage to property.

According to Joliet police reports, at 2:44 a.m. May 25, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Raynor Avenue for a disturbance. The officers learned that Veasy allegedly had pushed a young woman back onto a bed, according to police.

Veasy left the residence and began to argue with a neighbor, ultimately throwing a rock at their vehicle and causing a window to break, the arrest reports show.

At that point, police say Veasy ran from officers, but was located and placed into custody without further incident in the 500 block of North Raynor Avenue, police said.
