4 Trucks Broken Into At La Grange Business: Cops

In another case, a La Grange man was arrested on a DUI charge, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

Truck burglaries

  • Someone broke windows and stole computer parts from four trucks at a business at 550 East Ave. The crime was reported Nov. 18.

DUI

  • A 48-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 800 block of 10th Avenue was arrested shortly before midnight Nov. 8 on Ogden Avenue in Brookfield on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and speeding.

Trespassing

  • A 40-year-old La Grange Park who lives in the 1100 block of Homestead Road was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 30 at La Grange's hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road, on a trespassing charge.

Damage

  • A vacant property was reported broken into Nov. 15 in the 700 block of South La Grange Road. It was unclear if anything was stolen.

Fraud

  • A resident in the 800 block of South La Grange Road allowed someone to access her banking information after being tricked into believing her accounts were compromised. The loss was more than $1,800. The incident was reported Nov. 25.
  • A resident in the 300 block of South Edgewood Avenue gave his Social Security number to a fake I-Pass website on Dec. 3. No financial loss was reported.
